It’s time to come up with a disparaging word for vaccine-autism conspiracy theorists, and I propose “Germers” to be that word. Germer: One who willfully ignores scientific evidence in order to preserve the erroneous belief, based on a single discredited 1998 paper, that vaccines are linked to autism. Example: “Johnny’s classmate, Jane, succumbed to flesh eating bacteria last week after her germer parents refused to get her vaccinated. She will be missed”.  Post this onto your blog or website, and let’s get it into the urban dictionary!
